Herrington Motorsports Ahead of the Competition Early in 2010

By Craig Revelle - February 11, 2010

They often say races are won and lost in the race shop, before the season starts, as preparation is the key to success for any racing team, at any level of competition.  Bobby Herrington and his Herrington Motorsports team are a step ahead of the competition early in 2010, as they have their car already assembled, lettered, and just awaiting a new motor, and they will be ready for racing, just over two months before the first green flag of the season.

Team owner Randy Herrington picked up the team's new 2010 Bicknell  just before Christmas, and went straight to work on the new chassis.  In less than a month, the car was assembled in their Elginburgh, Ontario race shop and ready to be lettered.

Plans for 2010 have not yet been finalized, but tentatively, the team plans to be back racing at the Brockville Ontario Speedway on Saturday nights.  The team will use engines from ERD Racing Engines out of the St. Catherines, Ontario area.

Herrington Motorsports will display their new car at the Frontenac Mall car show in Kingston, Ontario  March 25th to 28th.  Come and check out the 2010 Bicknell race car, and meet the Herrington Motorsports team.

"I  would like to thank Osprey Stables, Stover Bus lines, Kingston Paint and Decorating, South Eastern Mechanical, Len Corcoran Excavating, Marty Stover Financial, Randy Herrington Painting, and DCSun Internet Technologies for returning as a sponsor for Herrington Motorsports this season", says driver Bobby Herrington.  "We look forward to another great year in 2010".

If you would like to become a sponsor with Herrington Motorsports we do have opportunities available for the upcoming race season.  To learn how auto racing can be a useful tool to elevate your companies marketing or advertising campaign, please contact Randy Herrington at 613-549-0547.
