Herrington Travels to Cornwall Speedway For First Time in 2010 By Craig Revelle - July 26, 2010
To begin the evening at Edelweiss, the remaining 20 laps of the postponed feature from early this season had to be run. Herrington raced in the top five all race long, and finished in fourth place. In the second 30 lap feature, Herrington again finished in fourth.
"The car was decent", says Herrington. "We only have a couple of starts here this year, but we are not to far off everyone else".
After a fourth place finish in his qualifying heat at Brockville on Saturday night, Herrington and his team adjusted on the car, and the changes they made were good ones. Herrington started the 30 lap feature from eighth place, and quickly proved that he was one of the fastest cars on the track. After lap five, Herrington already moved up into the top five, and just a few laps later he was up to fourth, clearly catching the leaders in the process. With 11 laps in the books, Herrington was in third, and just past halfway, he was in second. A caution on lap 24 reset the field with Herrington running in second. On the ensuing restart, Herrington jumped to the outside of the track and appeared to be ready to make his move for the lead when contact from the third place car sent Herrington spinning in turn tow. Herrington had to restart from the back of the pack, as did the driver that got into the back of Herrington's Bicknell. At the checkered flag, Herrington was scored in 19th place.
With no racing at Edelweiss or Brockville this coming weekend for the Modifieds, the Herrington's will make their first visit of the season to the Cornwall Motor Speedway on Sunday night.

was a busy weekend for Bobby Herrington and the Herrington Motorsports
team. First up was a pair 30 lap features at Edelweiss Speedway, the
first in which was the conclusion of the 10 laps that was run on June 25th
before the evening had to be postponed due to curfew issues. A 30
lap feature at Brockville was also on the weekend schedule.
